India's largest drugmaker, Sun Pharma, has announced the acquisition of US-based Organon in a landmark $11.75 billion all-cash deal, the biggest overseas purchase by an Indian company since Tata-Corus in 2007. The move effectively doubles Sun Pharma's size, vaulting it into the top 25 global pharmaceutical companies with combined revenues of $12.4 billion.
