About this episode

Voters in the constituencies of Galway West and Dublin Central will go to the polls on Friday the 22nd May in two by elections to elect a new representative to Dáil Éireann. The seat in Galway West comes from the election of Catherine Connolly as President, while the Dublin Central seat has been vacated by Paschal Donohoe following his move to the World Bank.

Professor Theresa Reidy of the Department of Government and Politics at UCC joined us to look ahead to both contests.
