Woman's Day and New Idea ran a story claiming Ricki and her husband Rich are getting divorced based on photos of them standing at traffic lights. What was actually happening: Ricki was explaining her back pain very animatedly while Rich held a convenience store umbrella over his head, and they were on their way to celebrate with champagne and caviar. Ricki's mum, sister and mother-in-law all reached out in a panic. Even someone at Channel 7 pulled her aside to check in. The photos were taken from 50 metres away by a paparazzo sitting in traffic. Nobody was arguing. Nobody is divorcing. The umbrella was embarrassing though and she stands by telling him to put it down.
