The Sabbath has passed.
The city is still holding its breath.
On this Resurrection Sunday,
before the sun is fully up —
the ground itself begins to move.
An angel. A rolled-back stone.
Women who came expecting a body.
"He is not here. For he has risen, just as he said."
Mary Magdalene, standing alone, crying —
until he says one word.
Her name.
Then: two disciples racing to the tomb.
The road to Emmaus.
A locked upper room. Thomas.
Five hundred witnesses.
A breakfast by the sea.
Peter, restored.
The Great Commission.
The Ascension.
And a closing encounter —
the risen Jesus, present with you,
speaking through every locked door in your life:
"Peace be with you."
This is the final episode of Jesus: On This Day —
the actual words of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John,
Acts, and 1 Corinthians.
Nothing added. Nothing softened.
