🎄 SPECIAL CHRISTMAS EVE EPISODE 🎄
There's a game I play with my dog Teddy. I get down on the floor—all the way down—and something shifts in him. The distance collapses. We can be together.
That's the tiniest echo of what God did at Christmas. He got down on the floor with us.
In this Christmas Eve episode, I introduce you to four pit bulls who've been teaching me about the Incarnation:
🐕 Addie taught me about trauma and trust
🐕 Buddy taught me about presence over explanation
🐕 Blue taught me about suffering that redeems
🐕 Teddy is teaching me about coming home
Each one reveals something profound about what happened when God became flesh.
We don't know if Jesus was actually born on December 25th. Scholars say it probably wasn't even winter. But tonight isn't about a calendar date—it's about a truth we pause to remember:
God didn't send a message from heaven. He came down. He entered our mess. He got on the floor with us.
This is the heart of the Incarnation. And somehow, four dogs with four legs have been showing me what it means.
