What happens when Mohamed Al Banna — adviser to the UAE royal family, Group CEO of Lead Ventures, and serial investor — sits down to talk energy, entrepreneurship, and the art of building networks?
In this episode of Luca’s Insight Track, host Luca Allam explores how Mohamed went from watching his father struggle in real estate to becoming one of Dubai’s most connected business leaders and a mentor shaping the next generation.
This isn’t just about business — it’s a raw, inspiring, and often funny deep dive into risk, resilience, and reading people. Mohamed shares why he sometimes loses padel matches on purpose, why there are no guarantees in business except death, and why daily habits like smiling and giving can transform your life.

Mohamed opens up about the art of mentoring without exploitation, balancing network-building with knowledge-building, and a personal philosophy built around giving, gratitude, and faith. From a green “Mafi Mushkila” mug to a safe word called “Belief,” this conversation is full of stories, lessons, and practical insights you can use tomorrow.
