Will Haaland help City topple Liverpool?...

THE ATHLETIC
About this episode

Jimbo's accompanied by Charlie Eccleshare, Mark Carey and Duncan Alexander for a closer inspection of Wednesday night's Champions League action - and a look ahead to MD11 in the Premier League.

In the UCL there was end-to-end chaos in Bruges, potentially costly dropped points for Chelsea out in Azerbaijan - and a sensational header from Dan Burn as Newcastle picked up their third straight European victory. But - as City blew away Dortmund - is the disparity between the Premier League and the other sides across the continent growing bigger and bigger?

Then it's back to domestic affairs - and the small matter of Manchester City v Liverpool on Sunday afternoon as both sides seek out a win to try and keep pace with leaders Arsenal. But could the Gunners have already stretched the gap to nine points if they can be the first side to win at the Stadium of Light this season on Saturday evening?

All that plus the Europa League final rematch, the battle for Pease Pottage services - and bags of snakes.

Produced by Charlie Jones and Lucy Oliva.
