About this episode

Depuis la plus haute Antiquité, les émeraudes sont parfois vues comme des symboles d’éternité. Pourtant, il arrive qu’elles soient au cœur d’histoires où le temps des hommes est, lui, terriblement compté. Comme dans celle-ci. L’histoire d’une dague, celle de Nadir Shah. 


Quand une histoire commence par un poignard, on s’attend à un crime, à un drame… Mais cette lame est à part. Incrustée d’émeraudes gigantesques — parmi les plus spectaculaires jamais montées sur une arme, elle fascine, éblouit même. Et depuis des siècles, elle attire les convoitises. Elle a même inspiré un film culte : Topkapi


Mais l’histoire du poignard de Nadir Shah, elle, n’a rien d’une comédie. C’est une épopée, une fresque de guerre et de paix, de conquêtes et de trahisons… Une aventure digne des plus grands romans.
