A startling two-hundred-twelve thousand women have left the workforce since January according to the most recent job report. It is believed that it's due to a rollback in flexibility in 2025 in a large scale as President Donald Trump changed the workforce and ordered federal employees to be in office five days a week. We go into the details of how these changes in the workforce, alongside companies trimming their benefits, is making it harder for working women to make it work. On the bright side, The Utah Women & Leadership Project has released their new research snapshot and it's showing that Utah is a top job market in the nation for women in STEM-related careers, but there are significant gaps in K-12 education and workforce representation.
