Lessons from my first year of college

Anna Lynn
About this episode

Over the past year, I've grown in my faith, had both good and bad experiences, and LEARNED A LOT! I want to share a lot of the most important lessons I learned with you so that, Lord willing, you can learn these lessons now, from me, so that you can move forward and know even more than I did when I first started. This episode is for girls of all ages (although some mature content is mentioned), whether you're in college, about to start, or it's far off in the future. Grab your notebook and a cup of tea, and let's talk about God's faithfulness in helping me (and those I've met) grow over the past year.

Scripture mentioned:

  • Psalm 4:4
  • Matthew 28:20
  • Philippians 4:13
  • 1 Timothy 4:12

Episodes mentioned:

  • INVESTING IN YOUNGER CHRISTIAN GIRLS (taking the time and accepting the command)
  • THE GOSPEL (the foundation of Christianity)

Other things mentioned:

  • Versify, an AWESOME app my friends and I use to memorize Scripture
  • Amy Carmichael, a missionary to India who never married or had children, yet was still used by God to bless many people and save many children from slavery
