In the Fun Half, Republican Senator James Lankford says that that the Big Beautiful Bill will move millions of people from Medicare to employee-funded health care. Hmm, we weren't aware that this huge tax cut for rich people that guts the social safety net is also a job creator. It's a head scratcher. After that, Donald Trump seems to suggest that the Nazis are still in power in Germany. He tells the German chancellor that D-Day must be a bad day for Germany, because, you know, it was huge turning point in the defeat of Hitler's dictatorship. And a former denouncer of Andrew Cuomo who is also running against him in the NYC mayor's race has had a change of heart and is now endorsing him. Don't rank Jessica Ramos NYC folks! And James Carville has a strange bit of commentary on Jewish donors to political campaigns.
