So when he planned a weekend hunting trip near Liberty, Washington, with a friend, it seemed like nothing out of the ordinary. But when his friend arrived at their meeting spot deep in the national forest, Ian was nowhere to be found. There was no sign of him, his vehicle, or his gear.
What began as a missing person case quickly evolved into something far more complex. Ian’s family, friends, and law enforcement have been searching for answers since May 2020. They haven’t found Ian, but what they have uncovered since his disappearance is more shocking than anyone expected.
