Throughout the years I have seen over and over again where ministries, evangelist, televangelist, prophets, preachers, and whoever else will use various methods to get people to give by dangling some suppposedly bright, shiny spiritual thing before them. The people are enticed to 'buy' this blessing, an angel, trinket or trick for all to see with the words, and I quote, “God said…”. It always starts with those words, ‘God said’ for every person who gives X number of dollars He will do this or that. Or ‘God said’ for every person who gives this much money they will receive this or that. I wouldn’t have a problem with that but where do those words for giving, line up with the word of God? As I always say, what are the motives for doing or saying what’s being done or said? When these practices are put into action in churches and Christian meetings they are literally trying to sell God, but God is not for sale!
