He was tied to a chair and I thought he was scared, so I got down on the ground to try to make him feel better. Daniel saw this on the surveillance camera, and he came out to talk to us. He thanked us for being so kind to his dog. The next morning, Jamie and I were having trouble finding the hotel where our tour bus was going to pick us up. There were three hotels in the area with nearly the same name. Daniel offered to drive us into town to catch the bus. I thought that was incredibly nice of him. And we got to talking and I realized we had a lot in common.
