WHAT IS PRAYER
Our English word prayer derives from the Latin word precarious, which is fitting since we tend to most often pray in the precarious moments of life. But it is not just the precarious moments that cause us to pray. It is also those moments of wonder and awe that move us toward our Creator.

PRACTICES FOR THE MONTH:
1. SET A TIME AND A PLACE TO PRAY
2. TRY A NEW PRAYER PRACTICE:
Pray Scripture, Pray with others, Meditative Prayer, Read a book of prayers, Write your prayers, use Lectio 365 guided prayer, etc.
3. MID-DAY PRAYER
Pause in the middle of your day and prayer through the Lord’s prayer.
