"Something Beautiful" is the upcoming ninth studio album by American singer-songwriter Miley Cyrus, scheduled for release on May 30, 2025, via Columbia Records. This project follows her 2023 album Endless Summer Vacation and marks a significant evolution in her artistic journey.
The album includes 13 original tracks, all executive-produced by Cyrus alongside acclaimed producer Shawn Everett. Inspired by Pink Floyd’s The Wall, Something Beautiful is described by Cyrus as a visual album centered around the theme of healing. It aims to create a "hypnotizing and glamorous" experience that blends music, fashion, and visual storytelling.
The cover art, shot by Glen Luchford, features Cyrus in a striking look: a crystal-encrusted headpiece and a bedazzled fishnet dress with white feathers from a 1997 Thierry Mugler couture collection, embodying the bold aesthetic of the album.
To accompany the release, Cyrus will debut a companion musical film in June 2025, described as a one-of-a-kind pop opera. Co-directed by Miley Cyrus, Jacob Bixenman, and Brendan Walter, the film will serve as a cinematic extension of the album’s themes, offering fans a full sensory experience.
