Henry Winter's Goodison Park Memories

REACH PODCASTS
About this episode

ECHO Everton reporter Chris Beesley speaks to Henry Winter in a special interview as the leading football journalist shares his Goodison Park memories ahead of the move to the new stadium this summer. The 62-year-old, who now produces his own podcast The Winter View, has been a regular visitor to the Blues’ long-time home, reporting on games since the 1980s for the Independent, the Daily Telegraph and the Times.

Winter, who worked with Everton icon Duncan Ferguson on his upcoming autobiography ‘Big Dunc,’ offers his personal thoughts on the first purpose-built football ground in England while going through a selection of his own most memorable matches when reporting on fixtures at Goodison over the years. It’s a must-listen for all Evertonians from one of the most-respected voices in the game.
