In the beginning of Acts 6 when the number of believers were increasing, the original 12 disciples chose seven men to help manage the tasks and organization of the church.

Stephen was chosen as one of these seven men as one of the first deacons of the early

Christian church.

“This proposal pleased the whole group. They chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit…” Acts 6:5, NIV

How do I live a life of forgiveness and love, even towards enemies, reflecting the heart of Christ?
