About this episode

Title: Where the Waves Whisper

Level: Intermediate (B1-B2)

Story:

Elena returns to Seabrook, the coastal town she left behind five years ago, only to come face-to-face with Damien, the man who broke her heart. Their unexpected reunion stirs old emotions—hurt, regret, and the longing for something that was never truly finished. Damien confesses that he left because he thought she deserved a life beyond their small town, but Elena refuses to accept his excuse. As they navigate fragile conversations and unspoken truths, the ocean becomes a witness to their unresolved past. Despite the pain, Elena agrees to one dinner, one chance to see if anything remains of what they lost. Through shared memories, late-night talks, and hesitant touches, they realize that some love stories don’t truly end—they just wait for the right tide to bring them back together.
