At least 53 people have died from a fast-spreading illness in two villages, with symptoms proving fatal within 48 hours. The World Health Organization has been monitoring the outbreak since January. Dr. Celine Gounder, CBS News medical correspondent, has more.

Marine veteran Barrington Scott has been scuba diving for more than a decade. Recently, he took the ultimate test – diving on all seven continents in record time. CBS News' Skyler Henry has more on his journey.

A new book explores why teens are checking out of school and what parents can do to help. Authors Jenny Anderson and Rebecca Winthrop discuss the growing crisis in education.
