Cell Biology: Types of Cells 🔬GCSE Biol...

Seneca Learning
About this episode

In this episode, we’ll explore the fundamental building blocks of life: cells. We’ll distinguish between the two main cell types—eukaryotic and prokaryotic. Eukaryotic cells, found in organisms like plants and animals, are typically larger, while prokaryotic cells, such as bacteria, are smaller. We’ll highlight Sequoia trees as an example of eukaryotes and E. coli as an example of prokaryotes. Finally, we’ll discuss the key structural differences between these cell types and their significance at the microscopic level.
