An intimate conversation with Talk to Me directors Danny Philippou and Michael Philippou also known as RackaRacka, who were first known for creating some of the most ambitious content on YouTube but then vanished from the platform. Their curious absence was answered when they revealed they raised $4.5 million to create the daringly unique film "Talk to Me" which after it was shown at Sundance Film Festival. "Talk to Me" stirred up quite a buzz at Sundance, earning the attention of heavyweight filmmakers such as Jordan Peele, Ari Aster, and Steven Spielberg, Talk to Me was then handpicked by A24 distribution. This conversation explores how Hayden first worked with RackaRacka, discussed their origins of being YouTubers, an edit breakdown and director's commentary of Talk to Me's montage sequence, how moving beyond the limitless but unrefined YouTube platform, they yearned for the cinematic grandeur of traditional filmmaking and explained the ending of Talk to Me. 00:00 Who Are RackaRacka? 01:48 How Me and RackaRacka Met 03:14 RackaRack's First Big Viral Video: Marvel VS DC 04:54 Leaving YouTube to Make Talk to Me With A24 06:40 Riverside is the best video podcasting tool 07:54 Talk to Me Editing Breakdown 15:55 Join Juice Club 17:01 Get Amazing Music With Track Club 17:47 Why RackaRacka Left YouTube For Hollywood 23:45 The Hidden Meaning of Talk to Me Revealed By The Directors
