In the early 1980s, the Chicago suburbs became the hunting grounds for the Chicago Rippers, a sadistic group led by Robin Gecht, whose twisted rituals of mutilation and murder left at least 17 women dead. The gang's youngest victim, 21-year-old Lorraine Borowski, vanished on her walk to work, her golden high heels left behind as a chilling clue. Through shocking confessions, satanic rituals, and heinous crimes, the Rippers became infamous for their depravity. Decades later, their legacy still haunts Illinois, with one member controversially released, forcing the question: Were justice and the truth ever fully served?
