When compiling the story of Markus Schulz's career, his connection with the people of Los Angeles, and particularly the legendary venue of Avalon in Hollywood, would require a book-long chapter. A venue in which his dedication to the open to close performance of the DJ art excels, he returned on Saturday February 1 for his latest adventure. A city and area reeling from the devastation caused by forest fires, his goal for the night carried an extra emotion as a result, aiming to provide those affected with a small sense of escape, at least for a little while.
This set forms part of Markus' monthly Global DJ Broadcast World Tour series - providing a snapshot of his sounds in the liveset environment; spread across famed clubs and festivals around the globe. The next will take him to Soundcheck in Washington DC, where he will play on Valentine's Night, Friday February 14.
