Thoughts on Reading the Old Testament Fo...

Anna Lynn
About this episode

I'm bring back that lil' "thoughts on..." series from last season to talk about one of my new favorite subjects: THE OLD TESTAMENT!! For so long, I convinced myself it was boring or not applicable to my life--SISTER, I WAS SO WRONG. The Old Testament constantly points to God's true character and to who Jesus is, which is exactly the reason we should be reading the Bible in the first place. *totally geeking out about this episode*

Let me know if you either end up reading a book of the OT or want to read the whole OT along with me this year (or the next two years or five years or whatever...as long as you do it!!).

God is Faithful
A good reminder walking into a new year is that God is faithful. This past year, I've thought a lot about God's faithfulness. The following episode is a very down-to-earth (so much so I very obviously have a cold) and a heart-to-heart discussion about God's faithfulness, and what ... Show More

Old Made New
It seems a lot of “New Testament Christians” would prefer to simply dispose of the Old Testament. Perhaps that’s because it’s often difficult for modern believers to find relevance in the rules and wrath of a seemingly angry, vengeful Old Testament God. Today’s guest posits that ... Show More
