Ashford Manor had long been a place of legend. For centuries, the village at its base had whispered stories of its curse—tales of an ancient witch bound to the land, whose curse had slowly drained the vitality from the surrounding village. The manor, hidden deep within the woods, was a place of shadows, a place where no one dared to go. But the curse that had been whispered about for so long was not the end of the story. It was merely the beginning.

Lena, a determined young woman with a fierce desire to uncover the truth, arrived in Ashford to learn more about her family's history and its ties to the manor. Having heard her parents' vague stories about the manor's dark past, Lena was intrigued by the mystery. Upon her arrival, the village was strangely quiet, its inhabitants weary and superstitious, their faces marked with fear of the manor’s influence.

The innkeeper, Maud, warned Lena about the strange happenings surrounding Ashford Manor, but Lena was determined to press on. Armed with nothing more than a lantern and the journal of her great-grandfather—who had once lived in the village—she ventured into the woods.

The deeper she went into the forest, the colder it became. The trees grew twisted and unnaturally dense, as if they were trying to protect the secrets hidden within the manor. It felt as though the forest was alive, watching her every move, but Lena continued on, her determination growing with each step. She knew that whatever secrets lay within Ashford Manor, she was destined to uncover them...
