About this episode

Fires across the Los Angeles area have devastated entire neighborhoods and sent tens of thousands of people fleeing. The Los Angeles County coroner's office said it's investigating 11 deaths related to the fires. President-elect Donald Trump has been sentenced a rare unconditional discharge for his conviction in the Stormy Daniels so-called "hush money" case – meaning he'll be released with no restrictions. It now makes Trump the first U.S. president to assume office as a convicted felon. The Supreme Court seemed likely to uphold a new law that could force TikTok to shut down in the U.S., with conservative and liberal justices expressing skepticism about the company's legal challenge during oral arguments on Friday.
