Veronica Butler was in a long-standing custody battle for her children with her mother-in-law, Tiffany Adams, for several years, but in March of 2024, it all came to an end when Tiffany orchestrated and carried out her murder. Veronica had been granted supervised visitation with her children once a week, on Saturdays, and on March 30th she and the supervisor, Jilian Kelley, were on their way to pick up the kids when they were diverted down a dirt road and ambushed by Tiffany and the rest of her accomplices. A search for the women ensued, and 2 weeks later, their bodies were found buried 10 feet deep in a chest freezer on a rural Oklahoman property. Tiffany and her 4 co-conspirators have all been arrested, and each faces 5 charges related to the heinous crimes they committed. All of the defendants were part of an anti-government group called “God’s Misfits,” although the cult is not believed to be the motive for the murders…
