Vanessa Guillén was a 20-year-old US Army soldier who went missing on the Ft. Hood Base in Texas. People were confused as to how a soldier could have just disappeared on base, but it was later found that she was murdered by another soldier, and her remains buried along a riverbank by him and his girlfriend.
