161 still missing as Texas officials give few answers about emergency flood response 

At least 104 people are dead across six counties. In Kerr County, officials reported 84 deaths — those of 56 adults and 28 children. 

The death toll rose to 81 across six counties today. In Kerr County, officials reported 68 deaths — those of 40 adults and 28 children. Officials said 10 children are still missing from Camp Mystic. 

Jimmy Carter, a former American president, died aged 100.
