Alden, a determined young man from the village of Eldertide, sets out to confront the ancient curse plaguing his homeland. Legends tell of the Hollow Queen, a spectral figure who haunts the forest, bringing blight and sorrow to the land. Determined to end her reign, Alden ventures into the woods. There, he meets the Hollow Queen, who offers him a choice: if he takes on her burden, the village will be freed. Bound by his promise to save Eldertide, Alden accepts, only to become the forest's eternal guardian, tied to the shadows he once feared.
