Critics aren’t pulling any punches. Hollywood insiders and royal watchers alike are questioning the couple’s ability to produce compelling content. A senior executive told The Daily Beast that the couple’s Netflix projects have struggled to resonate, adding, “They are running out of last chances to prove that isn’t so.” The executive speculated that if Harry and Meghan cannot pivot successfully, their future might lie in social media influencing, where their residual fame could still attract lucrative deals.
