Today we are talking with a vegan champion. His name is Bill Muir, but you better know him as Sergeant Vegan. Bill went vegan in 1992 and later joined the US Army as a paratrooper after the events of 9-11. Despite the challenges, he maintained his plant-based diet through rigorous training in deployment, including service in Afghanistan with the 173rd Airborne Brigade. He is also the author of many books, including the children's book, The Adventures of Sergeant Piggy, Vegan Strong, The Ultimate Field Guide for a Kick-Ass Plant-Field Life, and a more recent book called Dead Meat: The Future of Food is Killer.
