In episode seventeen of A Deeper Look Surah Al-Jumu'ah, Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan explains a comparison made in the Quran about people who were supposed to follow Allah's laws in the Torah but didn't. The Quran compares them to a donkey carrying books - the donkey has the books but doesn't understand them. He digs into this idea to show us how important it is to not just have religious knowledge but to really live by it. And connects this old story to our lives today, asking us to think about how well we're keeping up with what our religion teaches us. This episode makes us think about how we handle the responsibility of following God's guidance.
