The strategic blunders of the Quraysh after the Battle of Uhud were significant. Failing to annihilate the Muslims, they realized their mistake and sought to form alliances with other tribes for future assaults. Surah Al-Ahzab (33) highlights this collective threat to the Muslim community. During the siege that followed, the Muslims implemented Salman Al-Farisi’s ingenious plan to dig a trench around Madinah, effectively delaying the confederate forces. A divinely sent windstorm eventually forced the Quraysh and their allies to retreat, underscoring the power of faith and divine intervention. This defeat weakened the Quraysh’s political and military influence, marking a pivotal shift that strengthened the Muslims’ position in the region.
