Episode 11: Sexual Dysfunction in Psychi...

ACLP
About this episode

On this podcast, Drs. Demoss and Alvarez will be discussing the much-overlooked problem of sexual dysfunction in psychiatric consultation.  Of course, the side effects of psychiatric medication can wreck the sex lives of our patients, but few of us feel equipped to address sexual dysfunction when it occurs, so we may not even bring it up.  In this brief conversation, we’ll start you with some assessment skills, then build on it with a way to formulate the problem to find the right solution, and the latest evidence behind interventions that can help our patients recover their sexual health and satisfaction along with their mental health.
