David Jones presents Saturday Night Football alongside Jamie Redknapp and Theo Walcott who analyse Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat to Bournemouth which sees their unbeaten start to the season come to an end. The visitors’ efforts were not helped by William Saliba receiving a red card for denying a goalscoring opportunity in the first half. Redknapp felt Arsenal struggled all game but did praise Andoni Iraola for his tactics in what was a statement win for the Cherries.
There is reaction from both dressing rooms with goalscorer Ryan Christie revealing he was delighted to get on the scoresheet after not doing so for a long time. A deflated Declan Rice said that there were no complaints about the result but insisted they cannot keep making mistakes.
