Real Talk: Life update + advice for your...

Anna Lynn
About this episode

I've missed talking to you!! Thank you for sticking around while I've been transitioning from high school to college; definitely been a big change in my life. I want you to view this episode like a conversation between friends over a cup of tea (or water, or coffee, etc.) who haven't talked in a while. I'm giving you an update on my life, especially the spiritual side, and giving you some sisterly advice about how to approach reading the Bible on your own. In all honesty? This is how I would talk to a sister. I pray this encourages you, and reminds you that you aren't alone in your faith!

I mention Matthew 6:33 and Philippians 4:13 pretty briefly, and then talk about memorizing Psalm 4. You should totally take a second and read those on your own. I recommend reading Psalm 4 in the New Living Translation (NLT), as that's the translation the Lord used to comfort and convict me in a season of discouragement.

Praying the Gospel
Psalm 103 is about how to handle life in general. It, in a sense, gives you the key approach to handle all of life’s circumstances, all of life’s situations, no matter what they are. And at first, this key feels anticlimactic.  What does it say the whole problem of our hearts is? ... Show More
