In preparation for RANE and Nasdaq’s upcoming summit on September 9th, RANE founder and chief collaborative officer David Lawrence is sitting down with a number of industry leaders to discuss major compliance, security, and geopolitical issues that are top of mind for global organizations.

In this episode, David chats with Jim Nadler, President and CEO and Van Hesser, Sr. Managing Director and Chief Strategist at KBRA.

Jim Nadler is the current President and CEO of KBRA. Prior to joining KBRA, Jim was responsible for all alternative assets in the New England Asset Management Division at General Re Corporation. Over the last 30 years, Jim has held several executive roles in the financial analysis arena, including at mainstays in the ratings industry as well as independent research firms. Jim is also the Board Chairman of DealVector, serves on the board for the NYC/LI Chapter of Breakthrough T1D, and is an elected member of The Economic Club of NY.

Van Hesser is the Senior Managing Director and Chief Strategist at KBRA, where he is responsible for commenting on market and economic developments and their impact on credit markets. He is also a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Van is the creator and host of KBRA’s weekly podcast, 3 Things in Credit. Previously, he led the company’s Financial Institutions and Corporates credit rating groups, where he leveraged over 30 years of experience as an institutional investor, sell-side research analyst, investment banker and regulator.
