A Scottish crime boss looks set to spend the rest of his days behind bars after pleading guilty to a £76 million cocaine shipment - which he’d boasted would be the big one.
Instead Jamie Iceman Stevenson was caught on Encrochat plotting the operations of his drugs business and despite going on the run has now reached the end of the road and is awaiting sentence in Glasgow for his crimes.
So why could Stevenson not stay away from crime and what parallels are there between Scottish and Irish criminals.
