Commander: A leader of a group, especially in the military. : The commander of Hamas made a statement about the ongoing battle. 7. West Bank - : The West Bank is another area where many Palestinians live. It is near the Jordan River, and it is often in the news because of the conflicts between Israelis and Palestinians. - : Unlike Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Hezbollah is not active in the West Bank, as they are based in Lebanon.
