About this episode

President Biden has approved an emergency declaration for South Carolina as Tropical Storm Debby, which made landfall in Florida as a Category 1 hurricane Monday, is expected to dump over 30 inches of rain on South Carolina.

As Tropical Storm Debby moves up the East Coast, about 1,900 flights were canceled and about 9,000 were delayed on Monday, affecting major airports in Orlando, Tampa, Miami and Charlotte. More cancellations expected today.

A federal judge in Washington declared on Monday that Google has been operating as an illegal monopoly and violating antitrust laws. It's a victory for the U.S. Department of Justice, which sued Google for illegally paying about $26 billion in 2021 to companies to make Google the default search engine on phones and computers, shutting down rivals. Google and its parent company, Alphabet, plan to appeal the landmark ruling.
