Zhivago Duncan is a Syrian-American multi-disciplinary artist living and working Between Los Angeles and Mexico City. His work spans a wide range of mediums, including elaborate large-scale paintings, drawings, raku ceramic sculptures, kinetic dioramas, and immersive installations.

The unifying conceptual thread running through Zhivago’s work is an exploration of the evolution of human consciousness and the construction of reality through culture.

In the podcast, König and Duncan talk about his first touchpoint with art, an encounter with Jean-Michel Basquiat, sources of inspiration, and his artistic process.
