حصل تامر على البكالوريوس من جامعة تورنتو والماجستير من جامعة أكسفورد. بدأ تامر حياته المهنية في طليعة مصممي السياسات مع أحد أكثر مصممي الأعمال تأثيراً في العالم.
ثم انتقل بعد ذلك وشارك في تأسيس عدة شركات ناشئة وعمل عن قرب مع رواد أعمال مختلفين لسنوات عديدة. انضم لاحقاً إلى شركة Fahrenheit 212 كمستشار للابتكار. وفي عام 2016، عاد إلى مصر لينضم إلى شركة A15، حيث قاد الاستثمارات وتطوير المشاريع. وفي عام 2019، انضم إلى شركة Sawari Ventures كprincipal للشركة. Tamer Azer is a Partner at Shorooq Partners. Tamer received his bachelor’s from the University of Toronto and a Masters from the University of Oxford. Tamer began his career at the forefront of policy making with one of the world’s most influential business designers.
He then went on and co-founded several startups working closely with different entrepreneurs for many years. He later joined Fahrenheit 212 as a Senior Innovation Consultant. In 2016, he returned to Egypt to join A15, where he led investments and venture development. In 2019, he went on to join Sawari Ventures as Principal.
