Our guest then discusses the novelties in the 2022 WHO and ICC MDS classifications and the significance of germline predisposition. Furthermore, she explores the emerging targeted therapies for MDS, including lenalidomide, luspatercept, and imetelstat.  

This episode offers a comprehensive overview of the evolving landscape of MDS diagnosis and management, highlighting the importance of personalized approaches in improving patient outcomes.
