Kevin Tarango, director of Cannabis and the Workers’ Comp Dividend Program at Heffernan Insurance Brokers, answers “No” to all the above. He runs the Heffernan Cannabis Association, a workers’ comp program that pays dividends of up to 40% of premium to qualifying cannabis businesses. We spoke with him for our latest podcast episode to get a handle on workers’ comp in cannabis – and, of course, to ask him to talk about his program.
