He says they may gaze at you, but they don’t really see you. He believes once we release the mind’s constraints, our awareness becomes clear like precious stones transparent to the light. He says consciousness is what remains when thought comes to an end. He says it is only by taking our attention deeply into the present that we encounter the transcendent.
