EP65: "Bye Mam, I Love You"

Tank Sinatra & Investigator Slater
About this episode

On a somber Sunday in 2010, the quiet town of Maesteg, South Wales, was shaken by tragedy when 15-year-old Rebecca “Becca” Aylward vanished after meeting her ex-boyfriend, Josh Davies. Her mother, Sonia Oatley, tirelessly searched the streets, driven by dread and mounting desperation. The search ended with a chilling call: "Stop searching. Come home." This confirmed Sonia's worst fears: Becca was not just missing - she was lost forever. The community was stunned to learn that Josh, once trusted and loved by Becca and her entire family, savagely took her young life simply to settle a bet with a friend.  Becca’s last words, "Bye Mam, I love you," will remain a poignant reminder of the innocent life so cruelly taken by a cold, calculated, and ruthless teenage predator.
