Is Gap Analysis Useful?

International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA)
About this episode

It's the age-old #businessanalysis question: Do I need to do a gap analysis for this project? Any time we make a change, we need to assess the current state, identify the future state, and analyze where there are gaps between those 2 states. In this episode, Scott and Susan define gap analysis, when it is done and why. We get controversial in this episode as we talk about whether every gap is a thing to be solved. We also identify ways that you can apply gap analysis to your life. Uses for gap analysis are endless!
