Special: Meet The Mercedes-Benz G 580 EV

Martyn Lee
About this episode
Welcome to a special edition of EV News Daily.

More recently the podcast has been getting a little bit longer, with so much exciting EV news, and whenever we get a new car out with lots of information to talk about I feel that it can make the podcast too long.

So we'll try something new, and see if you like the idea. Whenever we get a new car released which has enough information to make it basically its own podcast, and as long as I have enough time to watch all of the big Youtube reviews and read all the car mags, I'll write something bespoke and drop that into the feed, and you can choose whether you're interested in listening to it.

I don’t want to overload you. But also I don’t want to start making 45 min daily episodes because I appreciate your time.

➤ DC fast-charging up to 200 kW, allowing 10-80% charge in 32 minutes
➤ Luxurious interior with dual 12.3-inch displays and the latest MBUX infotainment system
➤ "G-Roar" sound system mimicking the characteristic engine note of gas-powered G-Class models
➤ Exclusive "Edition One" launch trim with unique colors, AMG Line, and Night package enhancements
